Your IT requirements for seminars at Mensch und Maschine
To ensure that your online seminar day runs smoothly, we have summarized the technical requirements for you:
Browser-based – no installation required
You do not need to install any software or have administrator rights to participate
Systems used
Your personal CAD workstation runs in the AWS Cloud
We use Microsoft Teams for audio and optional video
The optimal setup is to use two screens
One screen for the CAD workstation
One screen for the Teams meeting
Important notes:
Home-Office: If you are participating in the online seminar from home, we recommend that you disconnect any existing VPN connection to avoid connection problems with AWS.
Office: If you are experiencing connection problems with the virtual CAD machine in the office, we recommend disconnecting from the internal LAN cable and using a guest Wi-Fi network.
Browser: If problems persist, please try a different browser. If this is not possible, open an “InPrivate/Incognito window.” In most browsers, you can open this by clicking on the “three dots icon” in the upper right corner.

The AWS data center for this training is located in Germany (Frankfurt). Please ensure that access to this region is not restricted by geoblocking policies.
